Contribution Quest for Chairs 2010 Program (CQC 2010)

Advanced & Deeper Learning for Chairs

About the Program

The CQC 2010 program is a transformational experiential-learning course designed specifically for Chairs who became Chairs because they want to make a difference. They have experienced some success using sales techniques to build their groups but often feel uncomfortable and/or out of alignment when they try to “sell” members. They are frustrated because every time they need another member for their group they feel that they have to turn into a salesperson again…and that’s just not who they are…they are a Chair…and they are good at being a Chair.

During the program, those Chairs selected (and yes…there really is a selection process and Chairs have been turned down for the program) embark on their own Contribution Quest™ and learn and integrate the proven, non-sales, Contribution-Centered Approach™ that helped its creator enroll well over 350 CEOs and C-Level executives. Through the Contribution Quest Process™ they will also discover their Unique Contributions and how to communicate them in ways that are highly attractive to their ideal members.

Participants will learn how to shift from “selling” to Contribution as a way of “being” and building their groups. They will have the opportunity to create a tailor-made and sustainable Contribution Process & Community that will help them successfully grow and keep their groups full without ever having to turn into a salesperson again.

In addition to the curriculum, the CQC 2010 program focuses on creating a supportive community of like-minded Chairs that are committed to helping and supporting each other during and after the completion of the program. This support helps the Chairs integrate the Contribution Quest Principles™ even more deeply and thoroughly.

Obviously, The CQC 2010 program is a very comprehensive, transformational, and in-depth program that goes way beyond basic learning or short-term motivation. Above is just some of what you will experience, integrate, and learn from the program. How deep you are able to go with the work, what you take out of it, and what your results will be are directly related to what you put into it, how much you are willing to receive from others, how open you are, and (perhaps most importantly) how much you are willing to support others in the program.

How You Will Learn

Each month participants attend cognitive learning sessions and Triad learning lab sessions. Sessions are held virtually in a multi-sensory learning environment that utilizes web-based classrooms. Learning happens on many levels including learning, doing, helping others, teaching others, practice, and implementation, etc.

In addition, specific step-by-step assignments are given between sessions to help each Chair build their customized processes and systems. Between sessions, Chairs are also encouraged to connect with each other through the CQC 2010 Community Message Center and post questions, topics, and learnings from their experiences and homework. The combination of the sessions and the interaction among the CQC Community support the Chairs in fully integrating the new learning and preventing old habits from re--emerging.

Who This Program is for

The CQC 2010 Program is for those Chairs that have chosen to be a Chair because they truly want to make a difference through the work they do…not just to make a living.

They are at a point where they want to find a way to attract their ideal members that is free of sales techniques and that is fully in alignment with the make-a-difference values that led them to become a Chair in the first place. And, they finally want a way that works for them and has been proven over time.

They often feel uncomfortable and/or out of alignment (with the values that led them to become a Chair) when it comes time to “sell” a “prospect’. They may feel like they are “on stage”, having to prove or "sell" themselves, and/or having to convince others of their value. They may also find themselves having to engage in a lot of activities that are designed to help them appear more valuable to “prospects” and their peers, etc., etc.

They love the work they do as a Chair and wish they could be a Chair all of the time instead of having to “switch hats” to sell a member. The switching doesn’t feel authentic or comfortable to them and it may often put them in a state of mind of fear or lack or “What if I don’t sign them?…I’m going to lose my group.” type of thinking.

They truly want to build relationships with other Contribution-Centered™ Chairs and are willing to invest the time it takes to give and receive support and insight to and from the CQC Community.

They have been a Chair for at least one year and have already experienced group build using traditional sales and marketing techniques.

Who This Program is NOT for

This program is not for Chairs who are truly in alignment with building their groups using traditional sales and marketing techniques (some Chairs are absolutely in alignment with that approach and way of being and make their ultimate contributions in that way).

This program is not for new Chairs.

This program is not for Chairs who are struggling financially or struggling to keep their groups and need a quick fix in the next 30 days.

It’s Okay if this Program is not for you

Some of us are in alignment with selling. Some of us are not. The highest level of success happens when we are in alignment with our best path; the path that supports us in doing our best work and living in alignment with our values. Deep down we know which path we are in alignment with. Here are a few simple check-ins:

  • Does it seem like you have to become someone else when it’s time to talk with a potential member for your group?
  • Are you comfortable and focused on making a difference when "Chairing" but then have to switch “hats” into sales mode during a Selection Interview or phone call with a “prospect”?
  • Are you frustrated by what you think is your only option -- selling -- which seems out of alignment with your make-a-difference values?

Or

  • Are you a natural born salesperson?
  • Does selling come easy for you?

Either path, the path of Contribution or the path of selling is perfect …if it’s your best path.

In other words, the CQC 2010 Program is for those Chairs who are in alignment with the path of Contribution as a way to successfully build their groups. They feel uncomfortable and/or out of alignment when they try to "sell" members. At times, they may feel frustrated wanting to find a proven way to build their groups that is in alignment with their make-a-difference values. And…they love doing the work of being a Chair... and they are good at it.

And, some Chairs are in alignment with selling and make their Ultimate Contributions when they do so. This program is not for them.

Program Leader

The program is led and delivered by its creator Suzanne Livingston of Contribution Quest, Inc. and will be co-facilitated by experienced Chairs who have worked one-to-one with Suzanne on developing their own Contribution-Centered Approach. To learn more about Suzanne click here.

Program Schedule

The CQC 2010 is a transformational twelve-month journey. All group sessions are held on Fridays - - Session times to be announced.

Tuition:   $495  per month for 12 months (or can be paid in full in one payment).   If accepted into the program you will be committing to the entire twelve month program & committing to attending, supporting, and fully participating in at least 80% of the sessions.

To Apply For the Program

Due to the nature of the CQC 2010 Program and the impact each participant has on the success of the entire group, each Chair accepted into the program will go through a four step application process to determine if they are a good fit for the program.

The following process helps us select the Chairs that are the best fit:

Step 1

Complete and submit the application. You can download a PDF version of the application by clicking here or a Word version by clicking here . If you have questions give us a call at 425.739.9900 or click here to request an application via email. Once completed, submit your application by faxing it to 425.739.9901 or emailing it to the address located at the bottom of the application.

Step 2

Phone interview – If the application indicates that you may be a good fit for the group, you will be contacted to schedule a phone interview with Suzanne Livingston. If the application indicates that you are a not a good fit for the program at this time, you will be notified by phone or email.

Step 3

Assessment – If during the phone interview it appears that you may be a good candidate for the program, the next step is an assessment. The assessment is designed to help determine what core beliefs, behaviors and/or automatic behaviors may affect your efforts. The assessment results are used to help determine if you are a good fit for the program and, if accepted into the program, as a tool to help customize your program and approach. The cost of the assessment (including an assessment consultation with Suzanne to review the results) is $395. You will not be required to take the assessment unless there is a high likelihood you are a good fit for the program.

Step 4

Final Interview – If the assessment and initial interview indicate you are an appropriate candidate for the program, you will have a final interview with Suzanne. If you are one of the Chairs accepted into the program, you will be notified after your final interview.

If you have any questions or comments about the application or application process, feel free to contact us at 425.739.9900 or click here to email us.

We look forward to receiving your application!
